We have over 20 years experience in developing and delivering bespoke training courses, some examples of what we can develop are detailed below. We also have some 'off-the-shelf' options. We are happy to conduct a training needs analysis and recommend training to fill those gaps.

Training and Development

Examples of training we have developed and or are able to deliver are detailed below.  We can deliver live, in person or via teams.  Courses can be adapted from a few hours to half a day or longer.  If releasing your team is difficult we can split training into bitesized chunks and can deliver remotely as well as in person.

Bullying and Harassment - New Duty 26 Oct 2024

From October 2024 there will be a new duty on employers to take ALL reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment. Our package includes a training session for all colleagues, a risk assessment, management guidance, 2 legally compliant policies and much more. We have thought of everything you need to ensure you can protect your colleagues and your business.


Absence Management

Culture eats strategy for breakfast, or so they say, so if you have a lot of absence issues, it can be difficult to rectify. We run 'How to Create an Attendance Culture' and a 'Managing Absence' which is included in our manager's toolkit or it can be run as a stand alone training session. This will include step by step guidance and resources to support your colleagues and help them be healthy at work.

Managers Toolkit

This course provides your managers with good practical tools and knowledge to manage a wide variety of people issues. Topics include managing absence, motivating your team, how to handle performance issues, the appraisal process, conduct, induction responsibilities as well as investigations. You will get practical tools and you will grow in confidence.

Mediation in Management

This condensed yet comprehensive course will equip you with essential mediation principles into a single day where we'll go through understanding mediation fundamentals as well as an opportunity to practice.

Effective investigations

This short course will teach you how to investigate disciplinary and grievances. By the end, you will understand the process inside out. You will learn some potential pitfalls and how to investigate objectively, fairly and within the shortest amount of time. Your confidence will increase and you will feel more empowered to lead on investigations.

We run several courses, one is for Safer Recruitment within education by the Lucy Faithful Foundation. We also run a 'How To Recruit Good People Who Stay' to teach you the most innovative ideas and practice to attract and retain the best, diverse talent
